Endodontics

Endodontists specialize in treating the soft tissue which lies inside each tooth. Simply put, endodontics focuses on saving teeth from requiring extraction. The most common endodontic treatment is root canal therapy, or a root canal. An endodontist may perform upwards of 25 root canal treatments in a single week, while a general dentist typically averages two per week. There are a variety of endodontic treatments, including:

Endodontists receive special training in the treatment of traumatic dental injuries, such as cracked teeth, and in pain management. In some cases, a general dentist will refer a patient out to an endodontist if they tooth pain with no obvious cause. Endodontists are also able to perform more complex treatments on patients who have small root canals (or other factors which increase their risk) or those who have already had a root canal.

Everybody here is really nice and they do such a great job educating and explaining things. I personally hate going to the dentist but it was as painless as it can get. Paula and Dr. Patel are wonderful and really sweet. Marivel C.
